Little more than the personal fiefdom of the self-proclaimed High Justarian Mercymike, Quarthia's stated goal was to simply become a neutral trading state. The second faction to split off from Nysa during the Nysan Crisis, Quarthia lasted only a short while before being abandoned. Its isolation, animosity caused by the split with Nysa, and allegations of theft from Luceria prevented the fledgling faction from gaining a foothold. The fate of Quarthia's leader, Mercymike, is unknown, and even the faction's very location has been lost to time.
