The Children of Amon is a persistent and insidious cult which became infamous after Ostian leadership accused them of being partly responsible for Scottish_Irony's descent into madness. Nominally a small religious sect that worships Amon, a mythical hero from Ostian history, in recent years their beliefs have become even more twisted and strange, and they are widely considered to be quite dangerous.
The Scottish Incident[]
While at the time taken very seriously, it is now generally accepted that the charges of involvement in Scottish_Irony's fall were simply a convenient excuse to strip the group of their rights under Ostia's religious tolerance laws. Few complain about the affair, however; although it can't be proven, only a fool would believe the Children are anything less than blashpemous, seditious monsters, or that they didn't deserve every bit of Timbrelaine's wrath.
